Product specification drives the circuit
A crushing circuit is designed backwards from its product. Aggregate sold to a specification, ore prepared for a mill, and material produced for road construction each demand a different arrangement of stages, screens and closed-circuit returns. We set the circuit from the required gradation and throughput: a primary jaw for reduction, cone or impact crushing for shaping and secondary reduction, and screening sized so that the fractions you sell are the fractions you actually produce, rather than whatever happens to fall out of the process.
Feed is half the answer
Crusher performance is decided before material reaches the plant. Oversize in the feed stalls the primary and forces secondary breaking; excessive fines consume crushing capacity and blind screens. That is why crushing is planned alongside drill and blast — pattern and timing are the cheapest place to control top size — and why feed is regulated rather than simply tipped. A consistently choke-fed crusher produces a consistent gradation; an intermittently fed one produces variable product and accelerated wear on identical tonnage.
Availability, wear and measurement
Downtime in a crushing circuit is expensive because everything upstream stops with it. Wear parts are tracked against tonnes processed and changed on a planned cycle, with parts held before they are needed rather than ordered after a liner fails mid-shift. Settings are checked and reset as liners wear, because a closed side setting that has drifted quietly moves the entire product curve. Output is measured by gradation and tonnage rather than by hours run, and both are reported. Mobile plant suits a moving face or several small deposits worked in sequence; a fixed installation suits sustained production at a single point — and we will tell you plainly which one your operation needs.
